The AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course is a two-day, in-person introductory program that provides a
comprehensive overview of essential fundraising principles. This intensive course covers core skills, techniques, and program components, and incorporates substantive case studies and hands-on projects for both individuals and groups.
Designed for anyone seeking to deepen their fundraising knowledge, explore a career in the nonprofit sector, or prepare for the CFRE exam, the AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising course is especially valuable for those new to development or transitioning into the field. Participants learn how to organize and manage fundraising programs, build foundational skills across a variety of fundraising techniques, and prepare for long-term success in a development career.
Course attendance typically ranges from 20 to 30 participants, and CFRE continuing education points are available.
