CFRE Study Group (Virtual)

This seven-week study group is designed to help prepare fundraising professionals to be successful in earning their CFRE.

The syllabus is based on the subject areas from the CFRE test content outline. Subject areas include:

• Current and Prospective Donor Research
• Securing the Gift
• Relationship Building
• Volunteer Involvement
• Leadership and Management
• Ethics and Accountability
• Planned Giving
• Overall Testing Strategies for taking the CFRE exam

The two key objectives of this review course are as follows:

1. To help you to be prepared to take your CFRE exam
2. To increase your general knowledge base in the core skill areas of our profession. Even if you choose NOT to sit for the exam, this review course will provide a valuable overview of the core concepts and skills needed to excel in professional fundraising.

Class Schedule: The virtual class is Tuesdays, beginning September 10th and continuing weekly through October 22nd, from 5:30 - 7 pm.

Full participation in CFRE Study Group is applicable for 10.5 credit point in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.

Make sure to track the events you attend; you are responsible for submitting this information to CFRE for credit. As an Approved Provider, our events listed as qualifying for CFRE credits will already be accounted for by CFRE International, so no additional documentation should be required from us.
