The event will showcase and reward leading philanthropists, businesses, foundations, fundraising volunteers, and professional fundraisers who have improved and strengthened nonprofit organizations in the area and, therefore, have made an impact on our greater community and the lives of those in it.

You can "Honor Your Own” in any of the five categories by submitting a nomination form and inviting them to attend as your guest. Information about this free program can be found online.

To register for the event and submit Honor Your Own text, please go online by October 9, 2006.

NCPD SPONSORSHIPS - deadline extended to October 9
Over the past two decades, National Philanthropy Day has become a celebrated occasion in cities across the country, drawing hundreds and even thousands, to celebrate the commitment of those who make a difference in their communities. Sponsorships range from $1500 to $10,000 and a list of specific recognition is listed on page three of the Sponsorship Proposal.

To Sponsor, register online or fax the form to 202-547-6348 by October 9, 2006.
