ADVANCED EXECUTIVES - October 26
An Inconvenient Truth?
featuring noted author and speaker Arthur C. Brooks, Ph.D.  He is author of the groundbreaking and thought provoking book Who Really Cares: The Surprising Truth about Compassionate Conservatism.   Dr. Brooks will share his conclusions that religious conservatives are much more philanthropic than secular liberals, irrespective of income level.  The format of this session will allow for audience commentary and interactive Q&A with Dr. Brooks. Please note: Advanced Executive Programs are for AFP members in the fundraising field for ten or more years.

Increasingly nonprofit professionals new to the sector as well as seasoned leaders are exploring the growing number of graduate fundraising and nonprofit management courses as a way to build skills and to enhance their career advancement. Come and learn about what several programs in this region have to offer, and discuss how an advanced degree can play a part in your professional development.
