TOPIC: “Keeping Your Donors, Board
Members and Prospects Engaged While There's a Presidential
Election Going On”
This program will focus on the unique conversation
we as fundraising professionals can have around the
issue of major "distractions" such as a presidential
campaign. What is our responsibility, and how
do we equip ourselves, to keep our donors, prospects,
members and boards' "eye on the ball" while
all of this money is being raised by the various candidates.
SPEAKER: Beth Grupp, Beth Grupp Associates,
a fundraising, strategic planning, and consulting firm.
She has been raising money and serving as an organizational
expert for over two decades. Her clients have included
the Calvert Investments Foundation, Reading Is Fundamental,
Greenpeace, American Friends Service Committee, and
the Steven and Jean Case Foundation. She has run the
Finance Academy for the DNC and has created fundraising
curriculum for such organizations as the American Hospital
Association, the Public Education Network, and the Women's
Campaign School at Yale University . Over the years
she has trained literally hundreds of people at all
levels of skill and experience both nationally and internationally.
