President's Letter

Greetings! Welcome to the website of AFP/DC. This is the place for fundraisers in the greater Washington, DC region — a place to find your colleagues and a vast array of educational and networking opportunities in DC, northern Virginia and suburban Maryland. We get together regularly, in large groups and small, to learn from each other and support each other and to be inspired from one another as professionals.

I am pleased to serve the chapter as its volunteer president from July 2007 through June 2008.

I hope you will spend some time on this website and get to know us a little better. You can register for upcoming networking and educational events, read past newsletters, look for a job, post a job listing, browse our photo gallery, and much more! If you're already a member, I urge you to get more involved by attending an upcoming event or signing up to volunteer on a committee. If you are not yet a member, please consider joining.
