National Capital Philanthropy Day is dedicated to saluting the power of philanthropy in the Washington, DC area.  It is a celebration of the commitment of individuals, companies, and foundations who reflect the highest spirit of philanthropic generosity, dedication, and leadership.  These philanthropists are improving and strengthening the efforts of nonprofits throughout the region, and are inspiring others to broaden the impact of community giving.

Presented by the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Washington DC Metro Area Chapter (AFP/DC), more than 600 senior business executives, philanthropists, professional fundraisers, and volunteers are expected to participate in this year’s luncheon celebration, which will be emceed by Leon Harris of WJLA/Channel 7 News.

• Honor Your Own.  Application forms are due October 1.
• Register for the event. All attendee and guest names are due by noon on Friday, October 26.
  PLEASE NOTE: Name badges for NCPD will be printed on Monday, October 29. Changes received after the deadline of noon on Friday, October 26 will be accommodated on the day of the event.
