AFP/DC offers a wide variety of educational and networking opportunities. From our monthly Roundtable Discussions and Special Interest Groups, to Fundraising Forums, Luncheons, and our annual conference — there is plenty to keep you engaged and learning.

Enjoy opportunities designed to increase your knowledge and keep up with the newest trends in fundraising. In doing so, align yourself with like-minded practitioners of ethical fundraising. Many programs are designed to provide participants with valuable continuing education credits, which are an essential component of the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification process.

Networking also is an important part of fundraising. Meet others who can help you make those important connections. The chapter hosts annual member reception, new member recruitment activities as well as receptions at the AFP International Conference. When you join AFP/DC, you join nearly 1,000 fellow professionals. Take advantage of the many opportunities you have to get to know them.
